Education
I attended a private high school in my hometown, where I maintained a GPA above 3.0. I am now attending Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD (my hometown). I am a junior majoring in graphic design, with a focus on advertising and web page design. Through my two years at NSU, I've maintained a GPA at or around 3.5.
Experience
I have no previous tutoring experience, per-say, although I've helped classmates and friends on numerous occasions with their studies. I scored a 22 on the ACT, with high scores in the English and reading sections, and state-wide averages in the science and math sections. I've also completed classes such as: 2D Design 3D Design Advertising Design I Composition I, Composition II Drawing I, Drawing II Graphic Design I, Graphic Design II History of World Art I, History of World Art II Web Page Design I I am currently taking: Digital Imaging History of World Art III Interactive Design I have an interest in tutoring because I enjoy helping others problem-solve and understand the content in which they are needing help.
Availability
Weekends after 2PM, Mon/Wed/Fri after 8PM

Hobbies
Well for starters, right now my main interest would be my area of study- graphic design. I enjoy keeping up with it, and constantly practicing to improve my skills. During the summer, I like to be out and about- whether it be camping (old school camping, not the new age, giant RV camping), disc golfing, grilling out, or enjoying a warm afternoon on the boat at the lake. I also enjoy going to concerts of some of my favorite musical artists. During the school year, I keep plenty busy. In my first two years of college, I maintained full-time credits, along with working full-time hours at my job. This academic year will be no different, and although sleep is hard to come by, I find fulfillment in staying busy and active. I currently work a desk job at a hotel just a couple nights a week, and when I'm not there I'm working at the local YMCA. With all that said, I think your son or daughter would be a good fit with me!
